This demographic offers a powerful opportunity to shape the nation's future. In 2025, this momentum comes alive through the Festival of Youth: Creating a New Bangladesh — a nationwide movement that honors the country's revolutionary past while envisioning a future rooted in dignity, democracy, ecological balance, and inclusion.

Within this context, the Bangladesh Youth Summit 2025 will bring together over 500 emerging leaders (ages 12-35) from across Bangladesh and abroad. Proposed to be held in Dhaka during the second week of September, 2025, the two-day event will serve as a catalyst for bold dialogue, imagination, and collective action. It will explore how youth are building a just, democratic, and sustainable civilization.

Meticulously designed to empower young changemakers, the Summit will equip them to lead in entrepreneurship, governance, and global citizenship.

This is not simply a
gethering of ides,
it is the genesis of
movement.

The Bangladesh Youth Summit

The Summit is designed to deliver tangible outcomes, fuelling a national movement for youth-led transformation. Key results include the co-creation of a Youth Declaration for nationwide dissemination. The Summit also aims to strengthen youth leadership, amplify youth voices, expand networks of solidarity, and raise institutional awareness of youth priorities.

In the face of pressing national and global challenges, we must fundamentally reimagine how societies are built. The Bangladesh Youth Summit 2025 marks a pivotal step in this transformation, echoing Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus’s vision of a just, inclusive, and sustainable civilization rooted in dignity. It empowers young people to lead now. We call on all stakeholders to help equip youth with the tools and opportunities they need to drive systemic change—not as future leaders, but as the leaders we need today.
